Diwali is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness.
Some celebrate Diwali as a commemoration of the marriage of Lakshmi and Vishnu, while others observe it as the birthday of Lakshmi. Billions of people worldwide celebrate Diwali, a multi-day festival that marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and much more!
To celebrate the new year, we are powering a fundraising event on Diwali to help support the Indian nonprofit Where Are India's Children?

Where are Indian's Children is working to ensure that abandoned and orphaned children are accounted for and reach a positive outcome in the best interest of the child (including a functional path for the children to reach the legal adoption pool).
