Their Memories, My Miles
On September 11th, I’ll be running 100 miles—completely self-supported—from San Diego to my front door in Anaheim Hills.
There’s no race. No finish-line medal. Just me, the road, and a purpose that means far more than the miles.
I’m taking on this challenge in honor of both of my grandmas and the millions of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. During Alzheimer’s & Dementia Awareness Month, I’m running to raise $25,000 to support families who are affected by this disease, and the care their loved one will need as they embark on this journey.
This won’t be easy.
One hundred miles will push me further than I’ve ever gone—physically, mentally, and emotionally. There will be moments when I’ll want to stop. But I’ll keep moving because that’s nothing compared to the journey families face as they watch someone they love slowly lose their memories.
Every mile represents hope.
Every donation helps make a difference.
Whether you choose to give $10 or $1,000, your generosity will help support the fight against Alzheimer’s and remind every family facing this disease that they are not alone.
This run is bigger than me.
It’s for…

Good luck!
So very proud of you, Nate, for doing something like this all on your own! My mom has dementia and Casey’s dad did as well. It’s a terrible and cruel disease. Thank you for doing this!
