Come help Create a Future Forest at North City Park!

We have four target areas for this morning of work. 1) There is some more work to do in our 1st restoration site. A few more blackberries to tackle; 2) We need some volunteers to help expand our compost area by preparing the ground and making a second raft; 3) create some lifesaving rings on some trees in the upper forest; 4) a site which has been previously cleared can use some tender loving care to support the native plants spreading in the area. So, there is a job for everybody. No experience needed - our forest steward and seasoned volunteers will train you. Come out, meet some neighbors, and help restore North City Park!

What to Bring

Wear jeans or heavy pants and long sleeve shirt if you are going to help with the blackberries and wear sturdy shoes. We will have all the tools you need on site but feel free to bring your own work gloves if you'd like

Where to Meet

Meet up and sign in at the Kiosk close to the main park entrance.

Where to Park

Park along the fence line on 10th or in the parking lot at North City School
