Spring 2017 Cruise on Spirit of Dana Point

The cruise starts after dinner on Friday night.  Departure will be after the Mariner Crew is organized and given initial training.  Sailing through the night with three crews standing three hours on and six hours off, arrival at the San Diego Maritime Museum will be in the early morning.  All hands will have an opportunity to explore the exhibits of the Maritime Museum and the Air Craft Carrier Midway.  At approximately 1700 that evening, the ship will depart for a navigational training run up the inner channel under the Coronado Bridge to Chula Vista.  After an overnight stay, the ship will sail North to Oceanside Harbor.  Return to Dana Harbor will be Monday morning.  Cleanup and putting the Ship to bed should be finished by 1500.
