In 2007 Rotary International commissioned the Badash Crystal Company (formed in 1946) to produce a number of special Rotary Items. Roger Wagner was just coming in on the International Board of Directors and received this item-A Rotary Bottle Stopper.
This item was distributed to Board members, Trustee’s and other high-level members.
Only 90 were ever produced. Because a number of Directors came from
countries where religious guidelines prohibit drinking alcohol it was called a bottle stopper rather than a wine stopper.
The "Clear Crystal Wine Bottle Stopper" that is "crafted from renowned Badash crystal" and engraved with the Rotary Masterbrand. It comes packaged in an elegant satin-lined black box, making it suitable for gifting.
