Since joining VROC as a staff member in September 2021, I’ve had the privilege of supporting many of our programs and events and witnessing firsthand the care, leadership, and community that VROC builds for Viet LGBTQ+ people and LGBTQ+ communities of color across Southern California. From youth leadership development and community education to advocacy and cultural celebrations, I’m honored to be a part of a team that cultivates spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered. This work matters deeply, especially during a time when many of the communities we serve are facing increased attacks on their rights, dignity, and access to resources.
