Food Packing

Food packing volunteers make it possible for Grandma’s House of Hope to provide food for children who are homeless or living in insecure housing. As a food packing volunteer, you will place non perishable food items into Nana’s Kidz bags to create meals for children. This event takes place on the first Saturday of each month. It is generally helpful if a few volunteers of the group are able to lift 35 lbs or more. Volunteer student groups (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by at least one adult chaperon. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes. Food packing is generally booked up to six months in advance. To find out what dates are available, email volunteer@grandmashouseofhope.org.
