Join us for a wellness-themed merkado (marketplace) featuring cultural healing practitioners offering free or donation-based services. This creates an opportunity for the community to connect with local practitioners and explore a range of healing modalities rooted in Indigenous Filipinx and AAPI traditions.
The event will also include a curated program featuring a meditation and sound bath, as well as a panel discussion highlighting cultural practitioners who will share their craft and the ancestral, personal, and community-rooted stories that inform their work.
Throughout the merkado, additional practitioners and artists will share their offerings including dance and movement, a Filipinx wellness podcast, a pop-up portrait gallery, typewriter poetry, healing arts such as reiki, tarot, and hilot, as well as aura photography and visual art.
