Medium - 30 inch butterfly. 

Inspired to make designs using different colors and themes than the previous years. Alisson hadn't done much with blue, and lately discovered she liked painting bubbles. She liked the metallic effects from the first year with "American Beauty" and chose to invent an underwater/surface design incorporating those elements. She had a lot of fun painting "Adrift" until realizing the need to make cutouts of the bubbles in order to spray paint over them - and ended up cutting a lot of stencils again! The fun part of these projects is the unplanned steps encountered that result in methods she normally wouldn't use in other painting projects. 

Alisson really enjoys experimenting and appreciates the flexibility given that allows exploration. Born and raised in St. Petersburg Florida, my artwork is greatly influenced by beautiful skies, the ocean and nature. I earned my BFA in illustration at Arizona State University. My artwork has been featured for almost 15 years at the Art Expo Gallery on St. Petersburg Beach and in group exhibitions in Lima, Peru and Phoenix, Arizona. I offer commissioned work through social media. Most works are oil or mixed media on canvas; sizes range from over 4 feet to 10 inches.
