Tending the Seeds: A Winter Sowing & Fire Circle Gathering with Molly Pritchard and Laura Billings
12:30PM – 3:00PM EST
$36.00 - $72.00
Join us for a nourishing winter gathering for women, where we will tend both the seeds of our gardens and the seeds within ourselves. The afternoon will begin with a hands-on, make-and-take winter seed-sowing workshop. Together, we’ll plant native and pollinator-friendly seeds into mini greenhouses—simple containers that will rest outdoors and quietly grow throughout the winter months.
Afterward, we’ll gather around the fire for a gentle fire circle ceremony, offering space to reflect on what we are nurturing during this season of rest and what is slowly preparing to emerge. Together, we will honor winter as a time of gestation, intention, and unseen growth.
Please save your clear salad containers and milk jugs and bring them with you if you can—and feel free to ask friends or neighbors to save theirs as well. We will provide soil, seeds, and all other materials for the winter sowing project. Seeds may include herbs, echinacea, milkweed, penstemon, yarrow, and cold-season vegetables such as cauliflower and spinach.
A warm vegetarian meal and hot tea will also be provided. Reserve your spot soon—space is limited!
