Join us for an evening of culture, history, joy, and collective giving—rooted in community care and dedicated to sustaining the work of MAWOCN.
Historically, rent parties were how communities survived when times were hard. When the rent was due and resources were limited, people gathered—sharing what they could so no one had to face hardship alone. Music, food, storytelling, and joy became tools of survival and connection.
MAWOCN is calling on that same spirit of collective care.
