Rotaplast is a medical mission to carry out surgeries for cleft palate and severe burn injuries. Three staff members of the World Space Foundation, affiliated with District 5320's Whittier Sunrise Rotary Club, have volunteered as non-medical volunteers for the upcoming Rotaplast Mission to Colombia, April 15-April 28, 2023. We are seeking support for Airfare and incidental transportation costs to enable their participation. Richard Shope will be the Recreation Therapist, whose job it is to comfort the patients and their families before and after the procedures. Deb Woolford will be the Medical Record Keeper who documents the status of each patient. Jim Eustermann will be the Quartermaster who manages all the equipment and supplies for the mission.
