About
Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
The Dolores Rotary Club's main mission is youth leadership and community service. We have volunteers that give out food commodities each month, do bingo fundraisers, work on Christmas lights, and many more smaller community service events. Our club also runs the Escalante Days Mountain Bike Race that happens each August, that draws racers from all over the 4-corners region and beyond with 13, 18, 33 and 50-mile courses to choose from.
