CONEJO SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

For 51 years the Conejo Senior Volunteer Program (CSVP) has partnered with 75 plus local nonprofit and public service organizations to present meaningful opportunities that help the senior community maintain greater levels of health and well-being through positive physical and social engagement. CSVP volunteers generally serve more than 180,000 hours per year. Based on Independent Sector's estimated value of volunteer time, that is over 5 million dollars’ worth of human resource contributions that has been volunteered to local organizations each year.
CSVP is sponsored by the Conejo Recreation & Park District (CRPD). CRPD realizes the importance of this program and subsidizes a portion of the CSVP yearly budget. CSVP's goal is to raise awareness about our program and continually place volunteers at local nonprofits. We count on grants, donations, and fundraising to help with CSVP Programming. We are looking to continue growing our volunteer base, creating new partnerships, and making sure we are meeting the needs of our community.
