Kubo 2025 Leadership Summit - Powered by the Port of Long Beach

KUBO Organizing Project presents a Leadership Summit on August 17, 2025 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at KUBO Long Beach. We invite new and existing leaders to connect with community leaders Jenn Estacio (KUBO Long Beach), Harold Dela Cruz (Racial & Health Equity Team - Long Beach Health Department and KUBO OP Advisory Council), and Jazlynn Pastor (KUBO Organizing Project) through workshops and provided lunch. 

Workshop experiences will inspire leadership development, community organizing skills/tools, and how to build community power through relationships. Let's strengthen our community together!

Workshops

• 10:00 am to 11:00 am - Finding Your Community with Jenn Estacio, KUBO Long Beach
• 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Connection as Power with Harold Dela Cruz, Racial & Health Equity Team - Long Beach Health Department and KUBO OP Advisory Council
• 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm - Being a Changemaker with Jazlynn Pastor, KUBO Organizing Project
• 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm - Lunch (Provided)
