The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's 7th annual CF Cycle for Life is looking for volunteers to help us out at our rest stops and by being "route cheerleaders" down in the Mission Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel and Irvine areas.
The ride begins Ocean Institute in Dana Point and passes through Dana Point, up to Mission Viejo and Laguna Niguel area, to Irvine, the Back Bay of Newport Beach area, and back. CF Cycle for Life is a well-supported ride featuring a pre-ride breakfast, fully stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, bike mechanics along the route, ride marshals, support vehicles, and post-ride entertainment, BBQ and beer!
2-3 volunteers are needed at our Mission Viejo rest stop, our Irvine rest stop and our Laguna Niguel Rest stop. Volunteer t-shirt and food will be provided.
Volunteers are also needed who are willing to be 'route cheerleaders' and make sure cyclists are staying on the right path at certain designated points on the route.
