Education Embassador

Lack of information/misinformation about how Alzheimer’s disease affects a person pose a major barrier to families getting help. We need volunteers to help educate audiences at senior centers, community organizations, clubs, congregations, schools and more. Audiences range from 20 – 50 people. Topics include our programs and services, the disease and caregiving.

Presentations are given on various days and times throughout the year.

Requirements for this position include an interview, online HIPAA training, a background check and specialized Education Ambassador training. Volunteers need access to reliable transportation and should be willing and able to travel in local areas.
