Entheos @ Burning Man 2024

Entheos @ Burning Man is a project of the Entheos Community, led by the Entheos @ Burning Man Advisory Board and overseen by the Entheos Community Board of Directors. The Entheos Community is a global collective of makers, artists, curators, scientists, and leaders on six continents from more than 43 different countries. We actively contribute to transformational communities, work in medical and/or psychological research, innovate at the intersection of technology and culture, facilitate intimate experience with the sacred, and study the evolution of consciousness.

Entheos is a not for profit project that is funded by its members, participants, and donors via financial contributions through the Givsum Foundation, our 501c3 Fiscal Sponsor, and these contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. Annually, Entheos participants volunteer over 10,000 hours and contribute over $300k to fund interactivity, support camp operations, and gift 24/7 interactivity to thousands of Black Rock City residents at Burning Man and at two Regional Burning Man events (Love Burn near Miami, FL and unSCruz near Santa Cruz, CA).

We are a community that:

1. Explores the mystery and science of consciousness;
2. Acts with value-centered purpose across all national, religious, and ideological lines; and
3. Gathers regularly to share and experience what we have learned with those who are discovering their own entheos.

We create sacred spaces in unusual places to celebrate the git of life and we endeavor to connect Entheos Communities globally that cultivate healing and transformation locally.

Members of the Entheos Community currently organize one of the largest, and most diverse, theme camps placed at the annual Burning Man event in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Friends and members of the Entheos Community come from over forty-three countries to contribute their labor, skills and resources to the creation of Entheos @ Burning Man.  The camp co-creates extensive 24/7 interactivity for all ages as a gift to the citizens of Black Rock City, functions as a pilgrimage home for its members, and serves as a nexus to meaningfully connect people from around the world across national, religious, and ideological lines. As part of Entheos’ commitment to radical inclusion, diversity, and equity, we hold a portion of our camp capacity open each year to welcome people who are camping with Entheos @ Burning Man for the first time. Part of the mission of Entheos @ Burning Man is to level the playing field for people traveling internationally to Black Rock City and to lower the carbon footprint of their participation. Entheos Community Village collectively organizes through Communal Effort several of the core elements of surviving in the desert in order to reduce waste and the number of cars coming to Black Rock City. As a community we organize healthy meals, potable water, shade for tents, power for tents and RVs, showers, and a tent storage program. These are not services that our camp participants are purchasing, these are Communal Effort initiatives which are collectively organized through consensual agreement. The resources that Entheos organizes through communal effort make it possible for people to travel to Burning Man in a significantly more sustainable way.
