Several years ago members of our church group gathered winter clothing in our van and drove to the Lakota Sioux reservation. We were appalled by the conditions that these true Americans live in. The gifts we brought were very welcomed, and appreciated. We further decided to drive to the Cemetery at Wounded Knee, to pay tribute to all the Lakota Sioux who were brutally massacred by Army soldiers. My group and I will never forget, the terrible price these Americans have paid for progress!
