All 1st-6th grade Acacia Elementary students are invited to join an after-school Foundation Class taught by our very talented Artist/Educator Ms. Megan!
In this 7 week class, students artists will learn a variety of portrait techniques in a variety of media. From charcoal, to watercolor, to acrylic paint, to paper collage, to mixed media, to abstract, to gridded drawings, student artists will produce 7 different self-portraits in a fun and nurturing environment.
Ms. Megan is a working portrait artist in addition to an arts educator and brings her knowledge and passion to every class! Students should come ready to create! Aprons encouraged.
Monday's 2:35-3:50 April-May, planned for the MPR.
