Join us with professional and nationally recognized clogger Brian Bon from Powerhouse. Mr. Bon has been an Artist/Educator with All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation for over 12 years and is one of our fan favorites!
Do you know what clogging is? It is a form of American Icon dancing that has been around since the 18th Century, and incorporates tap, jazz, Irish jig, English step dancing, African rhythm and high kick steps mixed with traditional Native American dance.
AtAFoundation is honored to offer for the first time a community percussive dance class lead by Mr. Bon. Check out the videos of his amazing traveling blogging performances on https://powerhousepercussivedance.weebly.com/. They have done shows all over the USA. You will be amazed.
Class includes tap shoes, "I am a Dancer" t-shirt, 13 lessons lead by Mr. Bon and his team, and a performance on the last class. We will meet 13 times in the MPR at Commonwealth Elementary School. Two classes, one for Kindergarten through 2nd graders, and then one class for 3rd graders through 8th graders. We reserve the right to change grade level structure based on number registered.
