Volunteer with Rotary at Manzanita Outreach in Cottonwood, the largest food assistance program in Yavapai County. Manzanita Outreach fills the gaps within the Yavapai County food-assistance supply chain, sharing food with kindness and dignity. On 5 days during Rotary Week of Service, the 4 Rotary Clubs of the Verde Valley and 2 Interact Clubs of the Verde Valley along with friends and neighbors, will assist with jobs listed below. - Tuesday, April 16th – 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Assist the Manzanita Outreach Administrative Team
- Wednesday, April 17th – 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Sort books for the Children’s Literacy Program
- Thursday, April 18th – 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Help with projects in the warehouse & food hub for the Community Food Share Program
- Friday, April 19th – 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Sort and pack produce for the Community Food Share Program
- Saturday, April 20th – 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM – Pack snack boxes for teachers and more; ALSO FOR INTERACT, RYLArians, their parents, and friends of Rotary!
