The Dr. John S. Dahlem Scholarship Fund will provide financial assistance to deserving students who dream of attending college but lack the financial means to do so. Guided by Loara's Principal, counselors, and teachers, the fund will invest in young people of high character and motivated to succeed.

John believed deeply in the goodness and promise of every individual. He challenged us to work hard, pursue our dreams, persevere through adversity, and never give up. Most importantly, he had a remarkable gift for seeing potential in others before they saw it in themselves.

At John's Celebration of Life, his son Ryan asked, "How do we pay my dad's investment forward?" His answer was simple: take an interest in the life of a young person. Be the person who sees something in them before they see it in themselves."

That vision now guides this scholarship fund.
