In 1976 a select citizen's advisory committee determined that another campus was needed to serve the north region of the 376 square mile Saddleback Community College District. On July 1, 1985 Saddleback North Campus officially became Irvine Valley College. The original 3 schools were Business and Social Sciences; Arts, Languages and Humanities; and Health, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Technologies.
IVC serves over 15,000 students, offering 81 degrees in liberal arts and sciences, business sciences, social sciences, and technologies. Many students transfer to 4 year colleges and universities across California and the United States.
IVC has not yet activated their merchant account with Givsum. Your donation will go to the GIVSUM Foundation who will issue a check to IVC (

) as a grant within 30 days. You will get a tax receipt for the full amount of your donation from the GIVSUM Foundation, which you may use for your tax purposes.
