Philanthropy & Volunteerism | Townsend, MT

The Rotary Club of Townsend Foundation was organized to provide financial support to programs that directly benefit the public.  Our aim is to provide funding for post-secondary education along with training programs related to medical care, safety and leadership development.  These programs include:  Rotary scholarships for Broadwater County high school graduates totaling $4,500 annually; Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) scholarships ($400 per attendee); Barbara Kirscher Memorial Scholarship for medical career training totaling $1,000 annually; lifeguard training fees for local residents and various programs for Interact (a Rotary youth leadership program).  In addition, The Rotary Club of Townsend Foundation will support local efforts to assist needy individuals and families through both the Broadwater Food Pantry and the Adopt-a-Family campaign that is organized during the Christmas season.
