WE ARE TEAMING UP WITH THE ROTARY CLUB OF GILBERT AND NEED YOUR HELP TO CREATE SHOWER AND HELPING HAND KITS FOR OUR HOMELESS COMMUNITY
Last year, more than 22,000 people in Maricopa County were homeless. They had no place of their own to sleep, keep their belongings or take card of themselves. Imagine going days or weeks without bathing, changing your clothes or brushing your teeth.
But what if you didn't have a shower - or even a home?
At Paz de Cristo, guests get to take a hot shower with soap and shampoo. They receive a new pair of socks, underwear and a t-shirt. This is where you come in. Your donation will help the Rotary Club of Mesa create the hygiene kits needed for their visitors.
Your donation will provide funds needed to purchase items for helping hand kits and Paz de Cristo shower kits this Spring. Club members will be donating their time assembling and distributing the kits to the homeless in our community. Please help us reach our goal of $2,000.
