Sun Lakes - Plant a Tree in Snedigar Park, Chandler

The Sun Lakes Rotary Club is proud to sponsor the 'Planting of an Ash Tree' in Snedigar Park in April during Arizona Rotary at Work Week in April. 

The tree will be planted on either April 19th or 20th (to be confirmed closer to the actual date).  There will be a limited number of guests attending the time of the planting, but our club will follow up on April 22nd with a 'Celebration' where local leaders, key sponsors, students from nearby schools will be invited (along with Rotarians and their family members) as we take pictures, celebrate and enjoy the new tree in Snedigar Park. 

Scheduled to attend this event are the following :

- Terri Kimble, CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce

- Jennifer Pawlik, State Representative from District 17

- Nancy Van Pelt, Past District Governor in Rotary, Peacebuilder Chair

-  Kaylie Kochanski, Corp Marketing Director of Earnhardt Automotive

-  Ruston Reynolds, Earnhardt Automotive

-  Kindergarten Class from Strong Foundations Academy

-  SLRC Rotarians

The location will be Snedigar Park East, near the children's playground.
