Rock To Recovery

Rock To Recovery

Music is the Medicine!
Addiction and Substance Abuse | Laguna Beach, CA

Rock to Recovery helps people heal and transform their lives through the powerful experience of writing, playing, and performing music as a group.

Founded 12/12/12 by Wes Geer, founding member of the band Hed PE and former touring guitarist with Korn, Rock to Recovery's program forms bands in treatment facilities with NON-musicians. Our groups help people create community, express feelings, and complete a project they can be proud of. We serve individuals who are working through trauma, substance abuse, mental health issues, domestic violence, eating disorders and other concerns. Our clients are veterans, youth, women, abuse survivors, and others who want the experience of using music as a healing force in their lives.

Rock to Recovery currently works in four states. We have 15 program administrators who provide more than 500 sessions each month at 100+ treatment facilities. We also have a contract with the Department of Defense to serve the Air Force Wounded Warrior (AFW2) program. Our catalogue of songs exceeds 16,000 tracks. Additionally, we hold an annual sold out concert in Hollywood, the hottest sober event of the year.
